Owned and run by Nina & Paul EcobĀ a young couple with extensive hospitality and catering backgrounds who wanted to bring a different dining experience to the popular resort of Playa Blanca. La Bocaina Restaurant offers a modern european fine dining experience to their customers and an ever changing daily special early bird menu served throughout the day.
Paul and Nina acquired La Bocaina in November of 2006, having worked together for 10 years previously throughout their careers.
Paul was a chef for 16 years prior to their purchase of La Bocaina, having started out earning himself an NVQ Level 3 at Clarendon College in Nottingham, his career in the UK culminating in a 2 year period at The Sanctuary, where he progressed to head chef, one of the top restaurants in Nottingham. Paul took over as head chef from renowned chef Kirk Vincent.
Nina's experties leans more towards the front of house, with many years experience of restaurant and events management. |
